Maroon & Gray Proceeds Dedicated to “Mardi’s Fund”

Tickets are on sale now for the upcoming Maroon & Gray Dinner on May 21. As the first in-person Maroon & Gray celebration since 2019, the event promises a special evening celebrating the SCASD donor community, the 2020 honorees and the life of longtime SCASD educator Mardi Lowry McDonough, State High ’87, who passed away in June 2020. Proceeds from the event will be directed to the fund named in her honor to award teacher innovation and directly benefit current and future students. Most recently, grants have funded projects that support science and technology, student mental health, music, art, the Unified Bocce program and more.
