state celebration

Did you wrestle with State College High School? Join wrestling alumni from all years on Saturday January 26. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., we'll have a series of events planned starting with a “meet and greet” in the $140M new high school.

This year's team continues to uphold Pennsylvania's title as the best wrestling state, with three wrestlers in the state's top 25 and a wrestler at the PIAA #1 ranking (also ranked in the top five nationally). State High wrestlers continue to be accepted into top universities due to their outstanding academics along with their wrestling achievements.

We have some major changes in process for the wrestling room. We are creating giant photos of all SC PIAA State champions to be displayed. We also have banners for all state place winners and regional champs along with other wrestling milestones. You will have the opportunity to see the wrestling room and show your children/grandchildren your wrestling memories. The home match against Central Dauphin will start at 1 p.m. where all alumni will be honored.

Now is your chance to continue the legacy you started at State High, helping the current team realize their wish list that isn't secured by school funding.

“The next couple years the wrestling team is going to be solid,” Ed Urbas, head of the wrestling booster club says. “Come connect with your teammates then meet the wrestlers and share your stories and tips. Show your support for their hard work and help us in any way you can in order for this great wrestling program to continue to flourish.”

There is no cost to attend. RSVP below by January 24 to save your spot!
