The logo was designed by Eleanor Wing, SCAHS class of 2015 and Penn State class of 2019. Eleanor also designed the 2018 THON logo.

Music Program will Benefit from Maroon & Gray Society Banquet ProceedsFor 15 consecutive years, the State College Area School District has been named as one of the best communities in America for music education by the North American Music Merchants Foundation for demonstrating an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education. The program has also been named as a Grammy Signature School by the Grammy Foundation, swept the highest rankings and trophies at Adjudication Festivals year after year, and performed across America and Europe at prestigious events and venues, including the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and Carnegie Hall in New York City.
