Jordan Norwood ’04: From State High to the Super Bowl

It takes a special mix of circumstances to create a football player like Jordan Norwood. Born in Hawaii, Jordan grew up in State College, where he played both football and basketball at State College High. He hails from a family that is both athletic and creative.

Today, he is headed to the Super Bowl as a wide receiver with the Denver Broncos on February 7.

Radio Park Turns Pennies into Sizable THON Donation

Did you catch the feature on Radio Park Elementary in the 12/28 issue of Centre Daily Times? Students were recognized for their Penny Wars fundraiser, raising more than $1,700 toward the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon.

Embracing the State: Students Involved in Transformation of High School's South Building

Students and faculty are assisting in an initiative to transform some spaces in the high school's South Building into more personal and usable spaces. They have been invited to participate in a design contest to organize and furnish these open spaces for better use for student collaboration, meeting space, and individual study and planning.
